keep right pass left
The rules of the road.
American drivers are raised to internalize this small yet crucial rule about driving etiquette.
When a driver keeps right, they show patience. They show responsibility. Above all they show respect. Though there comes a time though, in everyone's life, when we need to exit our comfort zone and shift over into the left lane to make a pass. The driver places a heavier demand on their vehicle and swiftly makes their way to the front of the pack. This is not a race though, because there is no finish line. Once the driver has made their move, they assume their new position and keep to the right lane, waiting patiently until they are called again to pass left.
"Keep right"
Road Biking. Not a sport for the faint of heart.
The cardiovascular demands cycling places on the heart causes it to expand allowing it to pump more oxygen per beat to the cyclist tired muscles.
Having a larger heart also enables a cyclist to show more love and affection to their sport, their loved ones, and the work that they do.
This is crux of "Keep Right."
When we keep right in our lives, we respect other and ourselves We are aware of our positioning and are modest about it. Our egos are temporarily silenced. This is a meditative state in which we place the importance of those closest to us before our own.
